Rings Bands

The size of a ring or a band.
When buying a ring or a band it is very important to specify its size. We propose two methods which will give you an easy clue as to what size of a ring or a band choose. Here they are as follows:
1. The easiest way to check the size of a ring is to measure its inner diameter. Have a look at circle figures. Specified bellow each is an inner diameter, expressed in millimetres and inside there is a number - that is your size. The size notation may be presented according to Polish or European classification or that assumed in USA and Canada.
Please, do not try to measure your finger with a ruler, even a caliper. The measurement will be inaccurate. Bear in mind that the thickness of a finger may fluctuate and it is subject to many health factors but weather factors as well. Remember also that knuckles are wider than the part which you wear your ring or band on. As a rule, fingers of left and right hands are not of the same size.
2. If you do not have a ring or a band that could be measured or if you have any doubts regarding specifying the correct size, simply visit your nearest jeweler’s where you will surely be assisted by a professional who will take the measurements for you.
HINT:
Tradition has it that engagement ring should rest on the ring finger of the left hand, whereas wedding band on the ring finger of the right hand.
When you are going to have a baby and your fingers become swollen you can still wear your ring or band. Simply put it on a chainlet and from now on you can wear it as a pendant.
